Telangana Mahalakshmi Yojana – The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced the “Maha Lakshmi Free Bus” program for women and transgenders in the state. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will start the free bus program from the state assembly grounds at 1:30 PM on Saturday. Women will receive a “Zero Ticket” if they show acceptable identity cards verifying their residential address. The number of kilometers women can travel is not limited. The program covers inter-state travel only up to state borders.

Rahul Gandhi announced the Telangana Mahalakshmi Yojana. He announced his manifesto on 18 September 2023 which included this plan.
