This year, from May 21 to July 19, pilgrims from 25 districts of the state will be taken for pilgrimage by air. In this scheme, the devotees of the state Badrinath, Jagannathpuri, Kedarnath, Dwarka, Amarnath, Haridwar, Tirupati, Ajmer Sharif, Vaishnodevi, Shirdi, Kashi, (Varanasi), Gaya, Shravan Belgola, Velgani Church (Nagapattam), Amritsar, Rameshwaram, Sammed Shikhar Will be able to visit Gangasagar, Patna Sahib, Kamakhya Devi, Girnarji and pilgrimage places of Madhya Pradesh – Ujjain, Mehar, Chitrakoot, Shri Ramraja Temple Orchha, and Omkareshwar/Maheshwar and Moodwara etc.

In this scheme, IRCTC will look after the arrangements for food, breakfast and tea for the eligible passengers.
Apart from this, IRCTC will also look after the arrangements for the stay of the passengers as well as the arrangements for taking them from the airport to the religious place by bus.
Elderly people living in about 25 districts of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of the scheme.
Under the Madhya Pradesh Teerth Darshan Yojana, elderly people will be given the benefit of visiting their favorite religious places.
According to information Raisen, Sehore, Jhabua, Vidisha, Agar Malwa, Betul, Dewas, Harda, Mandsaur, Narmadapuram, Neemuch, Damoh, Ratlam, Shajapur, Sagar, Ujjain, Khandwa, Barwani, Burhanpur, Bhopal, Indore, Alirajpur, Dhar, Elderly people of Rajgarh and Khargone districts will be selected.
Elderly people will be able to visit the religious places outside the state of Madhya Pradesh, which have been selected by the government, under the scheme.
Travel to religious places by air will be implemented by IRCTC.
The government has tied up with IRCTC for the yatra, due to which IRCTC will prepare the proposed package for the pilgrims.
Under the scheme, the passenger will return to the same airport from where the journey will start.

Only permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible for the scheme.
For the scheme, the age of the person must be more than 65 years.
Both women and men will be eligible for the scheme.

Beneficiary people will be made to travel through airplanes under the scheme.
33 seats will be available in the airplane.
32 pilgrims from each district and a government official will go as an escort.
People above 65 years of age will be eligible for this journey and only such people will be eligible who do not pay income tax.
If more than 65 applications come in a district, then in such a situation the beneficiaries will be selected through lottery.
Bhopal to Prayagraj on 21 May 2023 and Agar Malwa to Shirdi via Indore Airport on 23 May and Betul to Vrindavan via Bhopal Airport on 25 May and Dewas to Shirdi via Indore Airport on 26 May and Khandwa to Gangasagar via Indore Airport on 3 June .
On June 4, the airplane from Harda to Prayagraj will go via Bhopal airport. On June 6, an airplane will go from Mandsaur to Shirdi via Indore airport, on June 8 from Narmada Puram to Mathura Vrindavan via Bhopal airport, while on June 9, an airplane will go from Neemuch to Shirdi via Indore airport and on June 15 from Indore airport to Barwani. Gangasagar will go by plane and on June 16, Gangasagar will go by plane from Indore.
From Damoh in Madhya Pradesh, the airplane will go to Prayagraj from Bhopal airport on June 18, and from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh to Gangasagar via Indore airport on June 19, Ratlam to Shirdi via Indore airport on June 19 and Shajapur to Shirdi via Indore on June 20. Airport and on June 22, an airplane will go from Sagar to Mathura Vrindavan via Bhopal airport.
