The Gruha Jyoti Yojana was formally launched by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Kalaburagi on Saturday. From August 1, registered persons consuming less than 200 units of electricity per month will not have to pay any electricity bill. This program provides free electricity for up to 200 units per household per month. Grih Jyoti Yojana, which provides free electricity up to 200 units per month to all eligible domestic consumers in the country, has been launched in Kalaburagi.
