Karnataka Ganga Kalyana Scheme 2023

Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation has launched the Karnataka Ganga Kalyana Scheme. Through this scheme, the beneficiaries get irrigation facilities after drilling borewells or open wells in agricultural land by installing pump sets and accessories. 1.50 lakh and 3 lakh for individual bore well projects by the government. This amount covers borewell drilling, pump supply, and an electrification deposit of Rs.50000. A 3.5 lakh subsidy will be given to Bangalore City, Bangalore Rural, Ramnagar Kolar, Chikkaballapur, and Tumkur districts.

Apart from this, a subsidy of Rs.2 lakh will be given to other districts. These facilities will be provided in farmers’ lands from nearby rivers by laying pipelines from water sources and installing pump motors and accessories.
