Gujarat Khel Mahakumbh – The 11th iteration of Khel Mahakumbh was inaugurated by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devrat, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on March 12, 2023 in Ahmedabad. The Gujarat State Sports Authority organizes the Khel Mahakumbha competition. Gujarat State Administration has fully supported the proposal of Gujarat Sports Authority. Khel Mahakumbh Gujarat was organized after a gap of two years, challenging the government to motivate the residents of the state to participate. Sports University’s advertising department has devised several strategies to promote the events more broadly, including:

• Many banners and boards with information about Khel Mahakumbha 2023 are placed on the sides of the highway.
• Both the Prime Minister of India and state cabinet members have highlighted the Khel Mahakumbha in posts on their social media pages.
• Participants received copies of this information in their native language and in English.
• Various forms of advertisement including brochures, seminars and webinars were used to promote Khel Mahakumbha 2023.

Gujarat Khel Mahakumbh Eligibility

• Participants must be a resident of the state and a citizen of India by law.
• There is no minimum or maximum age requirement to participate in Khel Mahakumbha games.
• In the Khel Mahakumb portal, even 9-year-olds or 60-year-olds are allowed to participate in games.

Gujarat Khel Mahakumbh Awards

Players who win the game they participated in will receive the final cash prizes. First three winners will get prizes according to their taluk or district level. Cash Prize Rs. 1.5 lakh, Rs. 1 lakh, and Rs. 75,000 for the district level winners, second runner-up and third runner-up respectively. Cash Prize Rs. 75,000 cash prize will also be given to the first place winners at the taluk level. 15,000 for second place and Rs. 10,000 for the third.
