Sonusood will act as the brand ambassador for this project. The Desh Ke Mentor scheme will be launched in September 2021. This scheme was started with the intention of parents of poor children studying in government schools to get higher education. In such situations, they have no one to guide them in their career. Through this scheme, educated citizens across the country are requested to take charge of at least 2-10 children in government schools and provide career guidance to them.

The country’s mentoring scheme has been discontinued
The National Commission for the Protection of National Child Rights has issued an immediate directive to the Delhi government to suspend the country’s flagship scheme. Through this scheme, children are likely to be abused by potential criminals. The scheme was launched by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on 11 October 2021. Through this scheme, students of public schools in Delhi are guided on career options by successful citizens in their respective fields. The commission has issued notices to the Delhi government. A compliance report with supporting documents is requested to be provided within 7 days.
