What is Chhattisgarh Swami Atmanand Coaching Yojana 2023?
Chhattisgarh Swami Atmananda Coaching Scheme was inaugurated by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on 25 September 2023 at Manora. Under this scheme, free coaching will be provided to students of classes 11th and 12th studying in government schools. Coaching for the National Entrance Exam NEET, JEE is provided by reputed coaching institutes. The CG Swami Atmananda Coaching Scheme has been launched
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will launch the Swami Atmananda Coaching Scheme from his residential office today i.e. October 3 at 11 am. School Education Minister Ravindra Chaubey and senior officers of the department will participate in this program. The scheme provides free coaching for engineering and medical competitive examinations to students who have passed 60% in class 10th and students studying in class 12th. Under the Swami Atmananda Coaching Scheme, the renowned Allen Career Institute has agreed to conduct national training under CSR at 146 Development Block Headquarters of the State. Through these coaching centers, an online coaching facility is provided for better preparation for the National Entrance Examination Pre-Medical NEET and Pre-Engineering ITI. Training facilities are also available at Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, and Korba. The training is conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Council of Educational Research and Training.

Chhattisgarh Government’s main aim of launching the Swami Atmananda Coaching Scheme is to help economically backward students studying in government schools. They should provide free coaching to 11th and 12th class students to prepare for competitive exams without any financial constraints. Through this scheme, the benefit of free coaching for competitive exams of NEET and JEE is provided. Through this, students belonging to any category can get a free coaching facility. Through this scheme, the education time in the state will increase, and talented students will be able to take advantage of free coaching and brighten their future by clearing competitive exams.
100 students in each educational institution will benefit from the training
Under the Swami Atmananda Coaching Scheme, classes are held at BRCC centers or higher secondary schools in 146 development block headquarters of the state. On this occasion, arrangements will be made for conducting online classes for the students. 100 students in each educational institution will get the benefit of free training. Among them, 50 are medical students and 50 are engineering students. To get admission in coaching, candidates must have passed 10th with a minimum of 60% marks.
Instructions to Collector and District Education Officer
In this regard, the School Education Department has issued guidelines to all District Collectors and District Education Officers to ensure necessary measures for training. It is mentioned in the letter given to the District Education Officer that the selection of Chest Primary Education Institute has not been done yet. Therefore, the training of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics subjects will be started through offline medium by the government institutes. For this, a suitable building or room is selected for coaching. Moreover, under this scheme, subject-specific online classes are taken daily by SCERT Raipur for NEET and JEE competitive exams.
Selection will be based on merit
Under Chhattisgarh Government’s Swami Atmananda Coaching Scheme, 12th class general students can enroll for coaching in government schools in Vikasakhand Nagar. Only 11th and 12th class students studying Biology and Mathematics in schools of Development Block Headquarters can avail of these trainings. If more than the prescribed number of applications are received then the selection for coaching will be based on merit based on marks obtained in class 10. Under this scheme, the training will be from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The subject-wise training is prepared by the District Education Officer.
Nodal officers are paid an honorarium
Nodal teachers have been identified for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics subjects in each coaching center. There will also be a Chief Nodal Officer. The Principal is at the level of Senior Lecturer. The center-wise nodal officer is selected by the district education officer. After selecting the nodal officer, the district education officer issues an order. Under this scheme, the Government has provided an honorarium to these Chinese Nodal Officers, which is paid by the Board of Secondary Education, Chhattisgarh.
