What is Bihar Parvarish Yojana 2023?

Bihar Parvarish Yojana has been launched by Bihar Govt. Through this scheme, benefits are provided to orphan and destitute children, children of parents suffering from HIV, AIDS children of parents suffering from leprosy, and children of parents suffering from chronic diseases. Under the Bihar Parvarish Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month is provided to the children of the beneficiaries. The government provides this amount of financial assistance for childcare to the guardians or parents of the child. The amount of financial assistance the government provides is transferred to the account opened by the parents of the child aged 0 to 18 years.

Under this scheme, the state government provides the grant amount to the beneficiaries’ children until they reach the age of 18 years. Children above 18 years are not eligible under this scheme.
